I do not know if it is a common property of the fans of soccer live what we lived last night. I do not know what it accommodates in the spirit of the milanisti or juventini, parmigiani (parma fans)or Florentini; how excited, how they live the games, and be proud and wut moves thier hearts?.

But I know one thing:
that yesterday 26 February 2006 in the Olympic stadium has consumed one of the actions of love and unique and unforgettable merger between people, an injured player, the champions of the game beside him, a squad of young lions, a stubborn and capable coach and an elderly and sick president.

No one has a captain like us , whom if he was able with that band on his arm would play the game! None can have the pride he had to put in the middle of the field, to give them a band from captain and to catalyze in them our hopes, our smashing dream , our ever exploded anger , our eternal love and unquestionable for a town that is mother.

No one has a group of boys like us , that come from the nursery or living between one thousand difficulty chose. Roma and thats it! like Taddei and Mexes. They sway, they have the tired faces, but win every three days, take themselves to slaps, do the ring-around-the-rosy and come to to sing with slashed throats under sud ;the same songs that every day echo in our heads.

Totti leads Olimpico celebrations

Sunday 26 February, 2006
Francesco Totti and his teammates have described the ‘magical moment’ in which this Roma side became legend and the crazy celebrations in the capital.

Totti, out for three months with a fractured ankle, was on a special bench near the Curva Sud and after the final whistle did a lap of honour on the stretcher cart waving a giant Giallorossi flag, while all his teammates and Coach Luciano Spalletti put on ‘Totti’ jerseys.

“We’re in history now, so nothing else matters,” said the captain. “It was tough to be on the sidelines, but my teammates made everything easier for me. This is even more motivation to get back as quickly as possible.”

It was another Roma man born and bred, Alberto Aquilani, who scored the second goal.

“This is the dream I’ve been waiting for since the moment I was born,” said the youngster. “Totti has always been close to me and we are both Romanisti who love these club colours to death. I didn’t think I’d be playing today, but Spalletti gave me this chance and I’ll thank him forever.”

Amantino Mancini set up that goal and also felt the emotion of a Stadio Olimpico delirious with joy.

“It’s such a pleasure to be part of history of both Italian football and Roma. We are all over the moon and this is a magic moment for everyone.”

A group of players also climbed up into the stands to salute President Franco Sensi, who has been struggling with ill health and was in floods of tears at this unique occasion.

Rodrigo Taddei opened the scoring and was swept up in the celebrations at the Stadio Olimpico.

“We fought from start to finish, but our run doesn’t end here. We want to keep going and set new wonderful records with this Roma side. These are moments in life that you have to thank God for.”

Coach Spalletti had a difficult start to his career at the Stadio Olimpico, but in adversity with Antonio Cassano’s departure and an injury crisis, he found the formula to make history.

“We should focus on the behaviour of this squad that has achieved something extraordinary, especially without a great champion like Totti,” he noted. “We had the fortune to take the lead and were able to play on the counter-attack, even if the tension of the occasion led to some simple errors.”

The former Udinese boss also took time to praise his opponents, who were beaten 2-0 on the night.

“Lazio are having a great season and proved today that they are on form, which makes our victory all the more impressive. This record can be important psychologically for the side, who have been criticised a great deal over the past year.”

Former Roma Coach and legendary figure Bruno Conti was on the bench with Totti and a leading figure in the post-match parade.

“This night was magical in every way. The lads wanted it in particular for Totti and President Sensi, but I will never stop thanking these incredible fans. The players all ran for 90 minutes and worked for each other.”

The mood in the Biancocelesti camp was understandably sombre, as this is a party that will dominate the capital for days.

“Up until the second goal we were in the running. We had the better of the first half and Christian Manfredini’s injury caused us some problems, but even then we had chances to get back into it. It’s a shame,” said Coach Delio Rossi.

“Roma were taking turns with their corner kicks and there was some confusion over who was doing the marking on Taddei, while the second goal was a counter-attack. If you look at it, Angelo Peruzzi didn’t have to make a save. Above all I am disappointed for our fans, who deserved a better result than this.”

Record breaking Roma will be hoping to secure one of their most famous wins ever as they face Lazio in the Rome derby. They have already equalled the record of 10 consecutive Serie A victories - held by Juventus, Milan and Bologna - and what could be more dramatic than clocking up the monumental eleventh win against their bitter rivals?

Sadly that has not been the issue that has been putting Roma on the front pages this week. The fractured ankle suffered by Francesco Totti in win No 10 against Empoli means he won’t be able to play in the biggest match of the run he has done so much to help create.

Roma have made history with their 10th Serie A win on the trot, but they have lost Francesco Totti to a fractured ankle and he'll be out for around two months.

This was set to become an historic moment, as the Giallorossi prepared to match the all-time Serie A record of 10 consecutive victories - an achievement last managed by Bologna in 1963-64. Ironically, Luciano Spalletti prepared to do this against the club with which he began his career.

Family - Great!!, eventhough sometimes lost my temper..hehe... to raise up 2 kids(Sarah, 3 years and Umar, 2 years). Terminate our maid last month and now sending my kids to nursery. So far they are happy. Fhew...

AS ROMA - now 5th place in serie A after seven straight wins (same record when under Capello), and tonight(8/2/2006) will face Cagliari. Hope we can win again tonight to break the record. Cassano now at Real Madrid.

Alhamdulillah, syukur to Allah, on 2nd of August 2005, finally i got my Peugeot 406 manual deluxe, silver color, after waiting for more than a month!! I am the 2nd owner of the car. The first owner is French who is live and working here.

Is Grid research saturated ? I have read many papers, but don't know what topics to pursue ?

No, it is not saturated. Your imagination is the only limit -- just increase your expectations on what Grid means to you and how you expect it to serve you. You will soon find out that they cann't be fulfilled by today's Grid technologies and this is something you can research on!. Topics such as security, resource management, scheduling, application composition, and programming tools have been investigated to some extent, but they were all low hanging fruits. More work is requiresed in these areas. Some which I have pointed in my thesis (see Chapter 8) and also in a Report on the EU Workshop "Grid Economy and Business Models". There are many more additional challenges that needs to be addressed to realise the full potential of Grids. I encourage you to read European Commission expert group report on Next Generation Grid(s), European Grid Research 2005 - 2010 and US Cyberinfrastructure report.

Many have been dreaming that the Grid is going to solve all our problems and one such is here. If you can find a way to contribute your bit in trurning these dreams into a reality, you name will find a place in the history.

Wow, it more that 1 month since my last posting here. A lot of great things happen for past few weeks. After celebrating Eid Fitri with my family in Kedah, then, on 21st of November, i was walking down the Debrecen(230 km east from Budapest) town in Hungary. What a great place there, peacefull town, the only disadvantage for me was most of them cannot speak in English. While in Hungary, i visited Budapest, only for sight seeing, walking from Keliti Station straight to the town and came back. Back in Debrecen, almost all the roads and streets i already went through. Oh ya, actually, 4 of us were selected to go there for training and we were staying at Korona Panzio, Peterfia Utca, very near to Debrecen Plaza. We also paid a visit to Debrecen University at Nagyerdo, Tesco, Interva, wet market and other cool places. Then, on 4th Dec, i took a flight to Rome, staying 1 night there. While in Rome, i went to Piazza di Cologna, shopping at AS ROMA OFFICIAL STORE (FORZA AS ROMA!!!), then went to Stadio Olimpico. The sad thing was, i couldnt watch the game which was on Sunday evening, 5th of December. If the game on the afternoon, maybe i could change my flight to Cairo. So, after taking some pictures, i travelled back to Termini station and found one budget hotel, Hotel Gloria. Next day, early morning, at 9.00 am, i was at Termini station, going to Fumiciano airport and at 2.30pm, taking flight to Cairo. Stayed there for 3 nights at Marriot Hotel, where i had to present my journal paper for ICICT 2004(6 and 7 December). Visited Pyramid and al Khalili bazar, and enjoying Egyptian breakfast, kebab and not to forget Sisha(waterpipe). And, after nearly 3 weeks travel, really miss my beloved wife and children, then on Thursday(9th Dec), i arrived at KLIA, at 5.30 pm. What a journey experiences for me, especially when i was in Rome. I will upload pictures later on.

Well, a lot of good news i want to share with. First, my application to further study have been accepted by University Utara Malaysia, a PhD program. Challenge days ahead. 5 years? i hope i can make it 3 years. InsyaAllah.

Second, training at Hungary has been approved. So i will be leaving to Budapest on 20th of November, a week after Aidil Fitri. Then, on 5th December, i must be at Cairo, Egypt, to present my first International paper at ICICT 2004 Conference. But sadly, i have to leave my wife and kids.

AS ROMA? they trashed Cagliari 5-1 last Sunday night after beaten by Juvemerda 0-2 on Wednesday. 12 points now. 3W 3D 3L.

Well, after finish the training, i am planning to visit Italy before travel to Egypt. Hopefully i can make it, InsyaAllah

other things to share? nope. till now.

After won againts Livorno last saturday with 2-0, the much expected return of Giallorossi in Europe failed just 4 hours ago. Beaten by Leverkusen 1-3, Panucci and De Rossi red carded, i think, this will end any hope for AS ROMA to shine in Champions League this year. Sad but true.

Hmm, maybe there is something good for us. Concentrate in Serie A!!!

Fuh, finally, i have a chance to update. After defeated 1-3 to Bologna, Rudi Voeller has resigned and then replaced by Gigi Del Neiri a day after we lost 2-4 to Real Madrin in CL. His first game, 3-3 draw with Inter Milan with iL Capitano, Totti, scored his 100 goals in Serie A. Yesterday, no serie A games, but then Azzuri lost to Slovenia 0-1 in World Cup Qualifier, yet another disaster to Italy. Keep the faith Azzuri!!!

My 405 now is in new color, solid 2K black. I will upload the picture later. Next project? Change air cond compressor and modify front grill and also eye lips.

My life ? Everything superb, my wife is enjoying her new job now. I always pray for her success. As for me, thinking about new project to be done next year and also PhD program that could start end of this year.

Talkin bout car

Ok, this time, i would like to write about car. I am proud Peugeot owner. I used to have 305 GTX model few years back. Then when my wife bought Proton Satria (local brand car, the price is 45K, but it should be 28K at most, after being protected by gov, the local made car enjoy the market as imported car price is higher due to crazy tax, so Malaysian dont have choice but to buy "good" car), i sold that car to my uncle friend. Last January, i bought another model, 405 Sri manual.

There is a club for peugeot owners here in malaysia, mypeugeot.net . Complete with articles, DIY, forum and etc. Good to have a club as the owner can share everything, especially related to good workshop and spare parts price.

In my dreams, i want to make my car something like the photos below:-

well, just now i already submitted an application to enter a Phd program at UUM. Being informed by UUM that they already accepted my proposal. My area? Something to do in Multimedia Communication, streaming, peer to peer, multicast. This program is fully sponsored by my company. Wohooo, tough thing ahead. A lot of journals, anecdotes, reports and books to cover.

In the next 3 months, many interesting things are going to happen. Training at Deprecen, Hungary for 2 weeks(maybe end of November), present my first ever international journal at ICICT 2004 Conference, Cairo, Egypt(6 and 7 of December), fasting month, and hopefully my lovely wife will be getting her permanent job soon. And of course, start of next month, we will have new maid to take care of our 2 kids.

Talkin about serie A, tonight La Magica will face Lecce at Olympico. I predict hard win for Giallarossi.

After some tuning, now my blog is ready. But, again, the nightmare for Giallorossi continue.
last Sunday they were beaten 4-3 to Messina, the new promoted team in Serie A and their first win game in Serie A after 39 years!!!! Damn!! But there are 36 games to go.

Saluto, Benvenuto and Salam to all. After long lost time, finally, i have decided to register this new way of having house in spiderweb...well, i used to have one, back in 1997, using geocities.com. There was no real objective on signing free homepage at that time. Mostly the contents are all about music, with smashing pumpkins (my favourite band ever) lyrics and pictures. What is La Magica AS ROMA all about? It is my favourite football team, AS ROMA, from Italy. Now the team is facing their tough time. Last night game in Olympico was abonded (AS ROMA - Dinamo Kiev, first CL game) due to a missile that hit referee head. More news to come soon.
